Originally shared by Luis Chamberlain (mcgrof)#Qualcomm seems to be using a third party (+Cyveillance ) to automatically scape +GitHub and send #DMCA takedown notices for repositories containing code which is "confidential and proprietary to Qualcomm and were posted without Qualcomm’s permission". The abuse and blind, automatic, and belligerent use of DMCA takedown notices for code is profoundly troublesome but the kicker? They even sent take down notices to QCA's own repository, which did have Qualcomm permission! Who knows what they'll do next....
